Miracle on Marathon Monday

Susan, Adam, and Nick Run to Remember

Marathon Ambience...

I can't help but feeling excited when I hear the cheers of the crowds on Marathon Monday. I'm not running, and certainly could never be in shape enough to do so...but this is just so incredibly monumental! So many people's entire year have led up to this morning when they will take off on their own two feet and run 26.2 miles.

Our heros start an entire mile back from the original starting line, meaning when they complete the Marathon, they will be running 27.2 miles. Amazing.

The weather today is cloudy and a bit cool. Perfect for the runners, a bit dreary for the rest of us. Oh well, we won't let a few clouds dim our sunny spirits!

~Ashlie

PS - I will be M.I.A for a bit as I shower, get ready, grab some lunch, and head out to the marathon route!

See you at the finish line!
